1. Acceptance
By accessing or using buildcrex (“Platform”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws in your location.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
- You are responsible for all activities under your account.
- We may suspend accounts that appear compromised or used fraudulently.
4. Marketplace & roles
buildcrex connects Clients (people requesting services) and Providers (professionals offering services). buildcrex is not the Provider and does not directly perform the service work.
5. Requests, quotes & bookings
- Clients can submit a service request with details, location, and optional attachments.
- Providers may send quotes with price, timeline, notes, and files.
- When a Client accepts a quote and pays, a booking is created.
- Providers must deliver as described in the booking/contract terms.
6. Payments & escrow
Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors (e.g., Paystack). Where escrow applies, funds are held until release conditions are met. See the dedicated Escrow Terms.
7. Prohibited conduct
- Fraud, scams, or misuse of the Platform.
- Harassment, hate speech, or abusive behavior.
- Uploading malware or attempting to compromise the Platform.
- Bypassing escrow or encouraging off-platform payment to avoid fees (where applicable).
8. Content & reviews
- You may post content (e.g., reviews) only if it is truthful and non-defamatory.
- We may remove content that violates policies or laws.
- Reviews should reflect real completed experiences.
9. Disputes
If a dispute occurs, buildcrex may request evidence (messages, files, milestones, photos) and facilitate resolution. Final handling depends on escrow rules and platform policies.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, or harm other users/platform integrity.
11. Liability
buildcrex provides the Platform “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, buildcrex is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Providers are responsible for their services and deliverables.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
